Bag Lady!
Today started early - VERY early! So early that I am struggling to keep my eyes open! Maisie decided that we should all get up at 6am and whined AND WHINED until we did - grr!! I was pleased, therefore, that today was a relaxing one at Scamblesby. I had cut the pieces out for yet another bag and managed to finish it (bar the shouting so to speak) before I came home. I am getting a reputation for bags - and more bags. However, in my defence, this is another present!
The dinner menu at Scamblesby has changed - out goes the jacket potato, beans and cheese and in comes the "Summer Menu" -luscious sandwiches and Devonshire Cream Scones. I am proud to say that I had neither and enjoyed my SW lunch followed by a low fat yoghurt instead. ( Mind you those scones were really tempting!!). With an eye to the weigh in tomorrow I just couldn't justify it!
I came home to the folks living it up in the lounge - I suspect that they have dozed most of the day - they are still shattered (and that's before Maisie's antics this morning!). Let's hope that tomorrow brings some form of house news so that they can start planning.
Mind you, considering the sad news coming from London this morning / last night, we should be grateful to still have our freedoms. My thoughts and prayers go out to all affected by the events x

And was very impressed with the quality and professionalism of your bag, all that practice is paying off lol!
Well done , and for resisting the scones and clotted cream,
You are now saint Lynda.
Very impressed on passing the scones...not sure I could have done that! Lovely bag :)
