Home - safe and sound

Just a quick post tonight since I've just stepped through the door, checked that everything is okay and put the first load of washing on!

Last night my postcard was awarded second prize - I should admit that there were only 4 entries in this category but I was pleased with that. I should add that Debbie had been very encouraging ( she is starting to read this blog so I should say something nice after last night's photo!).

Today Karen and Pete drove us to Bridlington for three hours where we just ( ahem) happened to find a small fabric shop. It had a lovely range of fabric and kits - including some baby bunting which will come in very useful!

Then it was back on the minibus for the return home.  It has been a lovely, well organised and enjoyable holiday - and one that I would like to repeat next year- did you read this Karen?

Meanwhile I can report that my tooth is fine ( for those who keep asking) and that my craft room looks fab - particularly my peg board!  I can play I've the weekend putting things back in cupboards and on the shelves but the new floor is being laid on Monday and Tuesday so can't begin to get the house back to normal until Wednesday.
